Uncovered Things About Psoriasis and ED
What Is Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a severe autoimmune disease that leads to the rapid multiplication of skin cells resulting in red and itchy scaly patches that usually build up on the skin surface of the knees, trunk, elbow and scalp. It is a chronic and common skin condition that can't be cured easily and persists longer.

Although the symptoms of psoriasis vary among individuals, some of its common signs and symptoms include:

Red patches on the skin
Cracked or dry skin that may bleed or itchy
Burning sensation
Itching
Irritation
Stiff, swollen joints

Psoriasis occurs when your immune system attacks your skin cells to divide uncontrollably and rapidly. However, certain factors can trigger psoriasis and may include:

Skin or throat infection
Extreme cold or dry weather conditions
Stress
Smoking
Alcohol abuse
Family history of the condition
Cut, scrape or wounded skin
Some medicines such as high blood pressure medicines, antimalarial drugs and lithium.

Although it can't be treated completely, based on the severity of the condition your doctor may suggest you creams and ointments (topical therapy), light therapy (phototherapy), and oral or injected medication to slow down the division and growth of skin cells and to remove the build up scales.

What Is ED?

Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence is a common sexual issue faced by almost every man at a certain point in their lifetime. It can be defined as the inability of men to attain or sustain strong and long-lasting erections for satisfying sexual intercourse.

ED is a common situation and can affect every man irrespective of their age, however, it becomes more prevalent as you age. Low sex drives, reduced sexual desire, difficulty getting or maintaining erections and erections that are not firm are some common symptoms of ED that can be overcome with pills such as vidalista 40.

Erectile dysfunction can occur due to interrupted blood flow to the penis and could be the result of any of the following physical and psychological factors:

High blood pressure
High cholesterol
Diabetes
Heart problems
Low testosterone levels
Sleep apnea
Neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis
Deformed penis
Injury to the pelvic region or spinal cord
Stress
Depression
Anxiety.
Alcohol and drug abuse
Smoking
Lack of physical activity
Intake of unhealthy food

These factors restrict the flow of blood to your penis thus affecting your erections and leading to erectile dysfunction. Generally, medicines such as vidalista 40 are recommended to have firm and long-lasting erections. Vidalista 40 boosts the blood supply to your penis thus causing an erection.

Although vidalista 40 or other ED pills can effectively reduce ED symptoms, there are several other ways available to overcome ED.

Is There Any Link Between Psoriasis And ED?

It has been found that around 53% of men with psoriasis are diagnosed with ED as compared to other healthy men with no skin infections. And the chances of developing ED are more prone if you have other health conditions such as high blood pressure and high sugar levels associated with psoriasis. These health conditions are the leading risk factors for erectile dysfunction in men.

Further men suffering from psoriasis may feel embarrassed and often develop depression, stress and low self-esteem which can affect their bedtime performance, eventually leading to ED. Vidalista 40 is an effective way to get your ED treated.

Treating ED

Men with psoriasis can overcome ED symptoms and regain their sexual health by keeping their blood pressure and blood sugar levels in control. In most cases, treating the underlying cause helps in reducing ED symptoms but if it doesn't help and symptoms still persist then based on your medical history and present condition your doctor will suggest several effective ways to get your ED treated.

ED Pills

Oral pills including sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil and avanafil are highly effective medications used for treating erectile dysfunction in men. These pills including vidalista 40 are PDE5 inhibitors that aid in having an erection by boosting the blood flow to the penis by relaxing the penile smooth muscles.

But apart from being effective in treating ED, vidalista 40 and other ED pills have some potential side effects like headache, flushing, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, blurred vision, upset stomach, etc. Because of these side effects and certain drug interactions, ED pills are not welcomed by some men. In such a case, when you can't have or don't want to take vidalista 40 or any other ED pill, you can ask your doctor for some other alternative way to treat your ED. Your doctor will suggest any of the following ways to regain your erections based on your condition:

Alprostadil penis self injection
Alprostadil intraurethral suppository
Testosterone replacement therapy
Penis vacuum constriction pumps
Inflatable and malleable prosthetic penile implants
Vascular reconstructive surgery
