A Guide for Troubleshooting Konica Minolta MFD
Can't scan or print?

Are you the only person who is unable to print? (Restart your computer, and check the network cable to it)
Is the multifunction printer or device turned on?
Do you have the right print driver installed?
Is the printer's network wire connected?
Restart the device, give the controller a few minutes to come online, and then try again.
Has the network undergone any changes?
Is the IP Address in your print driver correct?

Not able to scan to email?

Have you ever sent a scan to an email? It may be necessary to configure the device; this is a network service call.
Please send an email. (doing so will check to see whether the email server is to blame rather than the hardware)
Try scanning in black and white; if that works, the problem is the file size. Some email servers may reject files that are larger than the predetermined size.
By scanning in black and white, choosing Compact PDF, or reducing the DPI settings, you can reduce the file size under the scan options.

Cannot Fax?

Do you hear a dial tone when you press the "on hook" button? (If not, perhaps the line is to blame.)

A paper jam

The ream of paper should be loaded seam side down. (curled into a frown)
Make sure the paper is loaded carefully and that all guides are snug to the paper. Check to see if anything is blocking the paper route. Do not overfill the paper tray. Check to see whether the drawer is completely closed.
Note the screen because it shows you where the paper jammed (the blinking dot indicates the location of the jam; ensure that the page comes out neatly and that no additional paper is left behind there).

Paper Tray Mistakes

Verify the apps page setup; the paper tray setting should be AUTO.

Please write down the code number and attempt to restart the computer after opening and closing the front panel (toner door) to reset the device.

C-0096 or C-0090

Check the paper trays; if any paper is stuck, remove it.

Close the paper tray, then turn off the machine's main power switch, open the toner door, wait 10 seconds, then restart it. Then, close the toner door.

C-0072 or C0070

Remove and reserve the toner container. Close the toner door, then turn off the machine's main power switch, wait ten seconds, and then restart it. Wait till the machine warms up and asks for the toner.
